What is the Activity Log?
The Activity Log provides a comprehensive record of every action taken within your Nextvisit AI workspace. This powerful monitoring tool captures detailed information about user activity, system access, and data interactions to help you maintain compliance and oversight.
How to Access the Activity Log
Click on your profile icon in the bottom left sidebar
Select "Activity Log" from the popover menu
What Information is Tracked?
The Activity Log captures a wide range of activities, including:
Chart Views: Every time a patient chart is accessed
Patient Records: All patient record interactions
Sign-in Activity: Successful login attempts
Failed Sign-ins: Unsuccessful login attempts for security monitoring
API Usage: All API interactions and data exchanges
User Details: Who performed each action
Timestamps: When each activity occurred
Access Details: What specific information was accessed
Understanding the Log Display
Each entry in the Activity Log includes:
Action Type: The specific activity that was performed
User Information: Which team member took the action
Timestamp: Exact date and time of the activity
Details: Specific information about what was accessed or modified
Exporting Activity Data
While you can view recent activity directly in the interface, you can request a comprehensive export for deeper analysis or compliance purposes.
To request an export:
Contact Nextvisit AI support
Provide your workspace name
Specify the date range you need
Allow 2-3 business days for processing
The export will be delivered as a CSV file containing all activity data for your specified timeframe.
Important Notes
The Activity Log is designed primarily for compliance and management purposes
The log viewer itself generates activity entries, so you'll see logging activity mixed with actual user actions
All data is maintained according to healthcare compliance standards
Historical data is preserved to support audit requirements
